Dykstra's Chip Off the Old Block

American Guinea Hog Boar (male) Black

AGHA#  DOB: 3/19/20193 yrs
Dykstra's Chip Off the Old Block combines the best features of his parents, CC Bag of Chips and Jds Momma Madonna. Long legs, height, long body, long but not too long nose. He sires litters with great growth rate, when paired with short/round/short nosed sows and also with long/tall/long nosed sows here. He is not a "flopper" boar. He has a confident manner and a definite "presence". He has been one of our most productive boars here on our small farm in Woodstock IL.

Boars $250 (sold), gilts $250-300, barrows/feeders $100
Chips tends to sire longer bodied, more athletically-framed piglets, with very good growth rate. His offspring tend to reach 150 + pounds sooner than quite a few of the other pairings we've tried here. Dot's first litter was a great one in 2021, producing some roly poly littles, with shorter noses and friendly personalities.
